Anita Blum and her son Arik Blum opened Cafe Paradiso in Jerusalem in 1995. Over the years the café became a café-restaurant, that serves delightful food throughout the whole day and the evening.
The raw materials chosen and the range of dishes served at the restaurant are directly impacted by the ties between Eastern and Western Jerusalem.
With their family roots in Romania, the Blum family is dedicated to preserving and serving some of the community’s traditional foods: piping hot chorba with its distinctive spices, rich Romanian kebabs with garlic, mamaliga – the traditional polenta, and a fine choice of Romanian homemade pickles. A richly varied list of Israeli wines has been an integral part of Café Paradiso for years.
